Edinburgh South Boxing Academy – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Edinburgh South Boxing Academy’s services, including class attendance, membership, and participation in events. By registering or attending any session, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Membership and Sessions
Memberships and session passes are personal and non-transferable.
Monthly memberships cover unlimited access to scheduled classes across all our venues for the relevant age group.
Pay-per-session rates are available at the door or in advance.
Session pricing: Primary (P4–P7): £4 per session / £35 per month
High School: £5 per session / £40 per month
Adults: £6 per session / £45 per month
Memberships are not prorated for partial months.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. venue unavailability, coach illness, adverse weather). We will communicate changes via our social media channels.

3. Code of Conduct
All members and attendees are expected to:
Treat coaches, fellow members, and venue staff with respect at all times
Follow all instructions given by coaches during sessions
Arrive on time and behave in a manner that reflects positively on the club
Refrain from any form of bullying, harassment, or aggressive behaviour outside of supervised training
Wear appropriate training attire and bring their own equipment where required
We reserve the right to remove any individual from the club without refund if their behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

4. Youth Members
For members under the age of 18:
A parent or guardian must complete registration and consent forms on their behalf
A parent or guardian must be contactable during all sessions
We take safeguarding seriously and follow Scottish Boxing guidelines for the protection of young people in sport

5. Health and Fitness
By attending sessions, you confirm that you are in suitable physical health to participate in boxing training. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns, you must inform your coach before participating. Edinburgh South Boxing Academy accepts no liability for injury arising from failure to disclose relevant health information.

6. Photographs and Media
We may take photographs or video footage at sessions and events for promotional use on our website and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing. For members under 18, written parental consent is required before any images are published.

7. Payments and Refunds
Session fees are non-refundable unless a session is cancelled by the club.
Monthly memberships cancelled mid-month are not eligible for a partial refund unless in exceptional circumstances at the club’s discretion.
Payments are due at the time of booking or at the start of each session/month.

8. Venue Changes
Our sessions run across multiple South Edinburgh venues. We reserve the right to change venues and will notify members in advance where possible via social media.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
